Introducing Me!

Hello everyone, my name is Anna Masters! I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten here at Oak Grove this year!

My family lived in Knoxville before we moved overseas and as we have all returned back to the States, all of us have moved back to the Knoxville area. My parents and younger brother live in Powell so I get to see them a lot.

 

When I was 13 my family lived in China where my parents worked as English teachers. After I graduated high school, I return to the U.S. where I got my undergrad degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with focus in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. After college graduation, I lived in New York City for awhile before ultimately returning overseas for language studies. I lived in China for 2 more years. Upon return to the U.S., I got my graduate degree in Biblical Counseling. I graduated and returned to Knoxville in 2018.

 

I worked 3 years at Concord Christian Preschool as a Teaching Assistant and was at First Baptist Academy, a private classical Christian school, as a lead PreK teacher. This is my second year at Oak Grove where last year I taught 1st grade.

 

My faith is the most important thing to me but some other things that I love are my family, traveling, Braves baseball, and boba tea!

Once again, I am so excited that the Lord has brought me to Oak Grove and cannot wait to see all He has in store for this year!
