This week went by so fast! We are spending a lot of time practicing and preparing for graduation!
In math, we did some review of the last fews units and then talked about the 12 months of the year! For reading, we drew Biff just based off verbal descriptions and then read "Biff and the Bathtub"! We then talked about how our drawings compared to the illustration and then talked about how we might describe him differently after seeing what he really looked liked! This week in handwriting we got to talk about some different jobs and then write about our favorite fruits!
In Bible, we took a break from our big storybook Bible and reviewed some our our favorite stories of the Old Testament! We also got to do a 10 Commandments craft to help as we learn them! For the rest of the year we will be reading a book that goes along with our storybook Bible and helps connect the Old and New Testament together in a broader overview. We are working our new catechism, they are doing a great job with the first 5 Commandments, and we will be adding the last 5 next week!
We are wrapping up our habitats study with oceans and we got to learn about some really cool people! Eugene Clark, who spent her life diving into learning about sharks, and Jacques Cousteau, who invented the aqualung, were a lot of fun to learn about! We will finish some of our ocean projects next week!
Don't forget our Animal Report are due next week! Can't wait to hear what animal everyone chose!
