Hello all!! I am excited and nervous to be your second grade blue teacher. Let me introduce myself to some who may not know me. We have been a part of Oak Grove for five years with my son, Speed McGehee. I hold a Masters in Education from ETSU. I taught in Kingsport City as an early intervention teacher and before that I was the Early Childhood Learning Center Coordinator at the Palmer Center. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I really love spending time with tiny humans.

I have been married to my husband, Jeff (Boo), for 17 years. We have one son, Speed. I discovered the "Good News" of Jesus at an early age and have grown in my childlike faith in recent years. My hobbies are reading, Taekwondo, rock climbing, bike riding, and travel. I love learning about all histories and can frequently be caught listening to the Great Courses. I am currently listening to Turning Points in Modern History by Professor Vejas Liulevicius. I am very musical and love a good, therapeutic dance it out!
