Hi! I'm Mrs. Latham

Hello, I'm Mrs. Latham.  I am known to some as Lindsay, four people call me Mom, and 2 little ones call me Mimzy.  A few things that you might find interesting about me are...I have an amazing husband, who is a little taller than me, and the love of my life,  4 children (who are two sets of twins).  Our oldest set of twins are both girls.  One lives in Orlando and works for Disney, while the other is married and has two children.  Our younger set is a boy/girl set. Our son works for Chick-fil-A and just graduated high school. He is attending Pellissippi in the fall and then plans on attending UT.  Our daughter also just graduated and will be attending Carson-Newman in the fall.   Last but probably the most important person in our house is our Schnoodle named Jasper.  He runs a close 2nd as the love of my life. Two things he loves the most are snuggling and me!

 

I have lived all over the country in the last 20+ years, while my husband and our family have served in ministry together.  Homeschooling has allowed us to serve the local church as a family while also doing school and being together. I have homeschooled for 18 years. Along the way, I have taught in various co-ops and classrooms.  My heart for education has always been the same no matter who or where I am teaching. "Teach them to love learning and they will be lifelong learners". I love watching children get excited about something new that they have discovered.  

 

On Saturdays, you might find me gardening, camping, paddleboarding, or watching Virginia Tech football. Go Hokies!! On Sundays, you will find me at Grace Church Knoxville where my husband is on staff and we worship.
