Middle School Science

Hi parents and students!
I'm super excited about teaching and learning about God's creation along side of y'all.  I've lived in Knoxville my whole life (graduating from Farragut and then UT). It's hard not to fall in love with God's creation living in East Tennessee. I love the Oak Grove method of hands on lab activity based learning.
All 4 grades will have Colossians 1:15-17 as their Bible verse of the first unit. Fifth and Sixth grade will focus on the fact that "all things were created through Him and for Him....and in Him all things hold together." This whole Goldilocks planet is no accident and designed by God. Seventh and 8th grade will focus on the first part of the verse. We will be talking about things invisible to the naked eye; protons, electrons and neutrons. We can see the results of of these microscopic things working together and interacting with each other.  We can't always see God, but we can see His hand at work through history and through creation if we look closely.
